Tunicotex Group is an Italian company founded in 1993 by an Italian family. Mr. Giorgio Capanna & Mrs. Anna Mascheri were the two company promoters with a great investment mindset. The family has a significant Italian heritage in the knitwear industry. They chose to create a knitwear company in Tunisia due to the geographical and cultural proximity with Italy and Europe. The story started in 1993 with a few machines, a small labor force, and low volumes. Year after year, the company grew, the Italian style mindset was reinforced, and strong partnerships with the global apparel supply chain were built.

In 2010 a new chapter started when the Company invested in a state-of-the-art building in Soliman on 50000 square meters land.
